No, we weren’t watching the movie, but we did land in Yuma for a stopover and had the oddest dog walk to date…a dry wash full of rocks. We were up early and on our way before we had a chance to meet any other dogs.

Monthly Doggie Travel Tips
- Swiffer wet mop or Shark steam mop are great for cleaning tile floors of pawprints
- 6' leashes are the norm at campgrounds
- Pet Playpens can be a big help, but careful, some campgrounds disallow
- Watch what pets eat from empty campsites
- Bottled water may be better in a campground for pets with sensitive stomachs
- Always carry pet's shot/vaccination papers
- Hanging laundry bags store toys well
- Weighted bowls prevent spills
- Clean dirty paws with microfiber cloths

- After two Nose to the Road trips across the country to the West Coast in 2008 and 2015 our beloved Scotties Kassy and Quinn have crossed the Rainbow Bridge. So for the trip in 2018, we are four and a half new adventurers heading off on the Yellow Brick Road West to find OZ or many OZs. The Tin Man (Ron) is the leader and the heart & soul of the group, The Scarecrow (Jim) is the inquisitive brain, and Dorothy (Charlene) is the caregiver and keeper of the Ruby Slippers, The Lion (Karen) will encourage all to have courage to try new adventures outside our comfort zone, and finally Toto (Duff) will be responsible for sniffing out the trails at each destination. So, we are Off to see the Wizzzzzzard. PS The Good and Bad Witches may make appearances also. Stay tuned.
